In order to help students to broaden their horizons, get more extracurricular knowledge, and strengthen the family-school connection, we invite parents to give students special lectures every semester. Through this activity, parents can also participate in the process of children’s education and growth. These special teachers who are engaged in different occupations have different majors and specialties. They bring rich and colorful pictures, videos and physical materials into the theatre.
We are very honored to invite Diego’s mother of class 4C to bring a parents’ lecture on shop design to the students of grade 4 and 5. In just 30 minutes, with rich pictures and wonderful interaction, Diego’s mum opened the door to the field of design for the students, and showed them the secret of shop design.
Through this parent’s lecture, students understood that shop design is a practical application of visual communication design. Designers communicate with people through visual design. Ingenious store design can also attract more customers and increase sales. Although this parent’s lecture lasted only for a short time, it has sown the seeds of art and design in the hearts of the students, hoping that it will blossom and bear fruit on the students one day in the future.
