Our parents are valued and supportive partners. A long-lasting, interactive home-school relationship is the foundation of our principles and practices. Only together can we all achieve our vision and mission.
At SUIS Qingpu, we believe it is greatly beneficial to students’ academic and social success for the parents and guardians to be a part of their child’s school life.
This is why we work hand-in-hand with families to foster their child’s healthy development and successful education. Parents can participate in their child’s school life through an open and regular line of communication with our teachers, and they are encouraged to become involved in a wide range of events and activities in the school community.
We strive to build a shared community for our students and families, and work closely with parent representatives who become part of our Parent Support Groups (PSG) in our Primary, Middle and High School divisions. Each PSG group is an integral piece of the SUIS Qingpu community and is made up of volunteer parents who, with support from staff representatives, work together for the well-being of our students, families, and the school. Together, they organise a wide variety of activities to help our families: make friends, receive valuable support, understand SUIS Qingpu ‘culture’, celebrate the incredible diversity of our school, and raise funds for school and local charities.
