Today is a special day. Not only is it Children’s Day, but also it is the closing ceremony of SUIS Qingpu Primary School Art Festival. This one-month-long Art Festival has come to an end. We have had a variety of activities. Fashion shows, talent shows, painting competitions, shadow play performances, and so much more. We hope that our students love art, appreciate art, perform art and surpass themselves into the future.
In this short month, students have found a new understanding of environmental protection. This activity mainly focuses on environmental protection clothing, which we designed from innovative fashion design. Knowledge was gained in how we can return to an environment caring for nature and utilizing nature; we emphasized color introduced onto different creation methods. We hope to raise students’ consciousness of loving the earth and protecting nature. Because of the acceleration of modern life rhythm and people’s high tension, society has to recognize the need for environmental protection, for example, looking at waste utilization, using environmental protection materials, and thinking about fabric reconstruction to make old things new.
The playground parade let the children wear their environmental protection clothing. Through the form of parade and performance, each student was able to show themselves and the designs confidently. The second activity was in the gymnasium. Each class from G5 using teamwork built a lovely “box space combination” that would be used for the fashion show at the closing ceremony of this year’s art festival.
It was an outstanding performance by all of our students. Alas, the happiest times are always too short, and the great memories always leave nostalgia. The campus Art Festival ends here. Let’s turn the enthusiasm of this year’s festival into motivation for learning, open the door to acquiring new knowledge, shape your artistic life with talents, fly the flag of hope, and pursue dreams.
We wish you childhood great memories!
Happy children’s Day!
