Spring is not yet over, but May is behind us and summer is on its way. Since the founding of SUIS Qingpu, the campus’ Qinghe school teams have all grown along the way, their content extending from art and sports to scientific and academic development. With the coming end of the semester, our school teams ushered in their final report performances. Our teachers, parents and classmates gathered together and enjoyed the reports of achievements and the elegant demeanour on display from each Qinghe school team.

“March of the Army”

“JUST DANCE”
by the Qingfeng Dance Team
In the gentle and charming Jiangnan water town, girls wearing sleeves walk among the unique houses under the shadow of lights, revealing the unique spirit of Jiangnan girls. Through their amazing dance movements, the dancers changed from ‘soft’ to ‘rigid’, followed by strong steps timed with the rhythmic music. This group of young children vividly performed the most beautiful and moving appearance of the girls in the south of the Yangtze River, as if they had really come to the geomantic treasure-house of “the sunrise makes the river blossom brighter than the fire, and the spring makes the river green and blue”, helping us feel the soft wuyin and local customs. Witnessing this wonderful dance performed with such ease makes us realize it all must have resulted from dedicated practice behind the scenes.

The sound of the hitting of a ball, of waves rolling, the gasping sound of running and jumping, and even the sound of sweat falling to the ground are intertwined. This is the youthful spirit of SUIS Qingpu Campus students, full of athletes’ love and dedication to sports.
