On August 12, SUIS Qingpu High School held a 2023 class freshmen briefing to help students successfully start their new high school life.

First of all, Ms. Lisa Wang and Mr. David Ranson, the heads of the High School, gave a thorough introduction of the school, including the school history, curriculum, university application, and much more. They encouraged students to make full use of the precious time in high school to improve academically and spiritually, to grow into independent young adults.

Later, Ms. Shirley Gong, the instructor of the Student Union and Head of Year, showed the colorful campus life, tutor groups, school rules to the students through videos and photos. We believe everyone must be full of expectation for the upcoming campus life!

High school is a transitional period for teenagers to grow into young adults. Through boarding life, students can develop a sense of independence, time management skills, and gain friendships. Mr. Jaden Ni, the head of the boarding department, described the warm boarding life from the perspectives of dormitory rules and regulations, after-school activity arrangements, and learning support.

In the following Q&A session, students raised their curiosity and questions. We believe that everyone will find their own answers one-by-one at the campus of SUIS Qingpu, gaining joy and growth! Looking forward to seeing you again soon!
