Winter has arrived, but the season looks back to autumn which is unwilling to give up its exclusive colours. Grades 6 and 7 recently organized a unique psychological activity that allowed students to experience the joy of being both a vendor and a customer while at the same time get to know themselves better and feel good about themselves. Come! Let us take you to the scene!
Before entering the fair, there was a preparation activity where people could write their names on a board in their favourite style, giving everyone a ‘red-carpet vibe’. As people looked from afar, it really seemed like everyone was displaying their unique skills. Next came the hand-made tickets, with three types of ticket designs exquisitely arranged. There were ten activity stations in total. For each activity the students completed, they received a sticker. Collecting ten stickers entitled them to a small gift, making the tickets highly collectible. Students quickly wrote their names and classes on their tickets and got started on the activities!
Without further ado, let’s move on to the first station, “Dance Your Way”. This was a game that got our bodies moving again, with students following the beat and video instructions. Two people worked together, seamlessly coordinating their movements. This activity could turn your mood from gloomy to bright and full of energy! Here, all bad feelings would vanish, and you would feel nothing but pure joy. After the dance session, students felt refreshed and wide-awake, and of course, the vendor handed out a sticker for their tickets and they went on to the next station.
The second station was “The Chain of Goodness,” which, as can be guessed from the name, was about sharing good deeds. You wrote one, I wrote one, and we stuck them together, interlocking, connecting not just kindness but also a testament of human interaction. By now, you must be itching to try it!
Let’s continue with the fun. The third station was “Squeeze Through the Hula Hoop,” a game for six people. Everyone had to hold hands to form a circle, starting from the first person, then passing the hula hoop down one person at a time without letting go until the last person completed it. Of course, we had our share of laughable moments during the challenge, but it brought out the camaraderie among classmates. Remember, there was a time limit for each challenge so we could be sure that all tasks were completed on time.
The fourth station was “Draw a Picture Together”. You and your friend needed to complete a painting, with six people in a group. Each person held a rope with a pen tied in the middle. You could choose who to work with and create a masterpiece together. Of course, it was not easy – it required teamwork, concentration, and lots of patience to complete the challenge.
Take a break, let your nerves unwind. Outside, birds sung in sweet melodies, echoing the laughter of the students. Let us move on to the next challenge.
“Schulte Grid” sounds like it required some thinking, but it was not too hard – it evaluated your reaction speed and observation skills. It was a grid divided into several sections, with the numbers 1 to 20 randomly filled in. You needed to read aloud and point out these numbers in order within a set time limit.
The next game was “Stroop Challenge,” which was like the previous one. It required some thinking, too. You needed to name the colour of the ink in 30 seconds while looking at what was written, but the colour did not match the font colour. For example, the word might be written as “blue”, but the ink colour would be black, so if you were not careful you might say “blue”. It was easy to get distracted by the written colour and make a mistake!
Next was the familiar “MBTI Test and Share,” a personality test taken by many. You could take a series of questions to determine your personality type, such as “ENTJ” (Commander), one who is honest, has high study ability and is a leader among people. After figuring out your personality type, you could attach your name to the corresponding grid sheet to find people with similar or different traits. It helped you understand yourself better while also getting to know your classmates better.
“Time Chest” is our old friend, appearing every time. Crossing time, encountering a letter from the past, like going to a long-anticipated appointment, this letter will be delivered back into your hands a year later, allowing you to see how ‘innocent’ you were back then. Of course, you can draw a picture, write a poem, or share honest thoughts with your future self. Or, you can write about any wishes you want to fulfill. Next was the “Mood Exchange Shop”, a place to write about the sad or good things you have encountered. After writing, you can draw a small slip from others, allowing everyone to share their emotions and read the heartfelt words of that other ‘him’ or ‘her’.
The last one was “Mandala Painting”, like the symmetrical patterns in the Secret Garden, which helped to calm your mind and relax. If you had completed all ten items, congratulations! You came to know yourself better again and collected stickers to exchange prizes. The prizes were of many types, such as staplers, correction tapes, and highlighters.
The event will be held again as scheduled next year. What are you waiting for? Come and join us! “Cure” the carnival is waiting for you!

Mental Health Fair! We were very excited when we started opening for this fair. I run a time mailbox, and some other people in the 7th grade are lined up in an orderly manner. When they finish queuing ,they chose their favorite letter paper ,and then wrote a letter they wanted to give themselves with great anticipation. Other stores are also very popular, and some people even go to other places to advertise our store.

Summary report of the “Mental Health Fair:
1.Preparation
Because our class is the first class to have the priority to choose, we have a wide range of options. Our choices are the two favorite projects – the Schulte Grid and the Word Color Challenge. Our class determines the project by majority vote.
2.How to divide the work
First, our class was divided into two groups, and the group leaders were selected. The group leaders made assignments, with some people painting posters and some people coming up with questions. For the Schulte Grid, each person was given a piece of paper and asked to draw a 4×4 grid on it, then shuffle the numbers from 1 to 16 and place them in the grid. For the Word Color Challenge, after drawing the grid on the paper, the participants were asked to write words in a color different from the color of the pen used to draw the grid.
3.Out come
When we were doing the testing, we found some materials that did not meet the requirements, but we were able to select the highest quality materials and provide them to everyone.
solve difficulties
We will rework and provide quality services.
4.Learn knowledge
We learn to cooperate with others to solve problems and think deeply.
5.Recommendations
We can have more project options, more team collaboration, and more preparation. There are always backup options.

On December 8th, we met at the fair and also “cured” each other at the fair. We built a happy, relaxed and healing environment with laughter and joy.
With the shepherd leading the way, the lost students embarked on a journey of exploration. With the orderly organization of the stallholders and the active cooperation of the students, we quickly got down to work. However, we also encountered many problems, such as lack of materials and difficult management. But we were more and more courageous, worked hard, and solved the problems. Finally, we drew exquisite posters, prepared complete props, successfully attracted the participation of students, and received high praise.
This activity was very interesting. Time flew by quickly, and I didn’t feel like I had enough fun. I can only wait until next year. I’m looking forward to it from now on.
