Scott Hockley
Scott Hockley holds two bachelor’s degrees from the University of Reading, a Master’s degree from the University of Staffordshire, a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE), and UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). He is also accredited as a Philosophy for Children (P4C) trainer. Scott began his career in France 20 years ago and moved to Shanghai in 2007, where he took on the role of Head of the International Division at a private kindergarten in the Songjiang District. After several years as a primary teacher at SUIS Hongqiao, he joined SUIS Qingpu in 2019. Since then, he has been promoted to Deputy Head of Primary, focusing on enhancing teaching and learning across all primary grades. Additionally, he has mentored over 15 teacher trainees through various undergraduate, postgraduate, licensure, and Master’s programmes.
