With the inspiring song of young pioneer hovering over the theatre, our school leaders, the counselors of leagues and our SUIS young pioneers in uniforms got together, attending our first young pioneer assembly.
Our young pioneers themselves took all the responsibilities for the assembly and fully showed their sense of host. Chief Leader of the Young Pioneers made a speech, conveyed the expectation to our younger generation. Then the counselor of our league announced the inauguration of the new members of our leagues. Our school leaders awarded the badges to them, which represents our trust on them and inspires them to strive for the bright future.
The speech by MS Sunny Huang, our Acting Principal, followed the inauguration. She sent congratulations and good wishes to the young pioneers, encouraging them to study hard and practice more, be creative and live up to the expectations from teachers, parents and the Communist Party. Strive to be aqualified successor of the socialist cause with Chinese characteristics.
Later on, MS Sunny Huang gave the patient explanations for the proposals and expressed the gratefulness to the young pioneers for their spirit of host and contributions to our school, which makes SUIS a better place. She also awarded badges to the volunteers.
“准备着，为共产主义事业而奋斗！”
“时刻准备着！”
The assembly ended successfully in the acclamations, ‘Strive for the cause of communist’, ‘Strive at any moments’. The young pioneers overwhelmed.
By taking the duties of being a little host of school, the opening of this assembly of young pioneers developed their independence and co-operation ability, enhanced their sense of glory, mission and responsibility, and helped them get prepared for the growth of being a host of our society in the future.
