Our return date is coming up fast. In order to provide a comfortable and safe environment for studying in school for all students after 18th of May, we need to know what the school has done to prepare the campus for reopening!
1. Body Temperature
The first thing everyone does when they enter school is check their temperature. The school has prepared infrared thermal imagers, which are sensitive to light and heat. In order to ensure an accurate measurement, they are installed at the school gate and the entrance to the executive hall respectively. There are teachers to monitor the temperatures and record them at the school gate every day.
2. Handwashing
There are ample supplies of liquid soap, in the bathrooms. You can also see the 7 steps of hand-washing posted in the washroom.
In order for everyone to practice good hygiene, the canteen has also added automatic induction type hand sanitizer machines.
3. Students’ Seats
The students’ seats have changed from small groups to one meter apart in the classroom.
4. Lunch & Snack
The school has also bought more mobile dining service equipment such as insulated containers, lunch boxes and food carts for students to have lunch in the classroom. Lunch and snacks are delivered to each classroom by members of the canteen staff.
Our school purchased desk mats in order to ensure cleanliness of the desks. After the meal, the mats will be collected and sterilized.
Each classroom is equipped with a cutlery collection box and a residual waste bin.
5. Supplies
In order to ensure the health of teachers and students after the resumption of classes, we have prepared all kinds of epidemic prevention supplies.
We have set up an “epidemic prevention area” for each class, which is equipped with hand sanitizer, alcohol swabs, masks, disposable emergency handling bags for vomiting and diarrhea, vomit bags, forehead thermometer and disposable gloves.
And each floor is equipped with face mask waste bins.
We have also provided anti-epidemic supplies to every teacher.
We have made comprehensive preparations for epidemic prevention. We are looking forward to seeing all students on campus once more!
