Students in SUIS Qingpu went to school with colourful pajamas and lovely slippers yesterday. Did they oversleep and forget to wear school uniforms?
With students’ expecting eyes, we embraced SUIS Qingpu annual Pajama Day! Originating from schools in the US, the traditional Spirit Day allows students to put on comfortable pajamas and go to school, a unique scene on our campus. Teachers participating on this day, not only narrows the distance between students and teachers, but also makes for active classroom culture. Classrooms look like cozy bedrooms where students can showcase their unique personalities through their choice of fun pajamas.
Look! Not only students enjoy this event, but our teachers also had fun! Pajamas make the red pens and textbooks more interesting!
During reading lessons, students sat on the carpet in the library and read books quietly. During music lessons, they listened to the beautiful songs. During art lessons, they used their imaginations to draw pictures……
When classes ended and bells rang, some elves walked around the campus. Some little monsters took pillows and chatted with each other around the school. The joyfulness of the day was spread all around campus!
“It will be perfect if every day is Pajama Day!” “Can I bring my pillow to school tomorrow?” Many students have asked these questions and expressed their love for this day. Let’s expect next year’s Pajama Day to be just as memorable!
