Reading is a great way to make friends and share the joy of literature.
A month ago, each of the 20 students from the High School Reading Club chose a book from the library and spent one month reading them and making detailed reading notes. “The Silent Majority”, “The Scroll Marked”, “Harry Potter”, “Your efforts must be worthy of your ambition”…
On May 12, these 20 “Bookworms” gathered to share their thoughts, and wrote down some words on cards, which were then hung in a tree.
Today, when social networks have become the most dominating aspect of life, we should still make time for reading. If you keep this up, you will gain so much more than the pleasure of having become absorbed in a story. This is the purpose of our “Bookworm” sharing meeting: as one of the little Bookworms said, ‘Please spend your whole life with reading.’
