Today’s camera focuses on Mr. Li Mingwei, deputy director of primary school, who is responsible for teaching and scientific research. Mr. Li has been teaching for 27 years and has served as a district teaching and research member for 20 years, devoting himself to teaching and research, curriculum research, and teaching practice. Mr. Li is an educator who pays attention to students, classes, and team development. This also makes him an amiable and respectable teacher.
Scene One: He spreads hope to the children.
In Mr. Li’s class, you can always see children discussing enthusiastically in groups and talking with each other in front of the classroom. You may ask, what’s Mr. Li’s role in the class? Mr. Li is a guide in the class, he gives the children enough space to share and show, the class is full of real problems, real questions, real sharing, and real evaluation. Through the sharing of problems, ideas, excellent qualities, and habits, the purpose of wisdom sharing can be achieved. It also realized Mr. Li’s unique teaching style of paying equal attention to input and sharing, which is also the original reason Mr. Li devoted himself to sharing teaching.

Mr. Li is a team leader. He is a very easy-going and cooperative person. Whether it is interdisciplinary intensive teaching and research or group discussion and communication, we can always see him as a helpful figure. Mr. Li is a member of an excellent subject team. He is good at guiding subject teachers to carry out teaching research in a collaborative way and to become an inquiry-based teacher. He not only focuses on personal growth, but also actively leads the young teachers in the team to grow together and helps teachers blossom!
Scene Three: He plants hope in his own mind.
Mr. Li attaches great importance to teaching and scientific research. In addition to opening his own classes and teaching seminars to his peers, he often shares his teaching experience with them. Rooted in scientific research, he led a group of teachers to devote themselves to the planning of subject research and assumed the responsibilities of research, guidance, and service. In the past two years, he has led the teachers to gradually promote district-level projects and city-level projects from micro-projects. In 2021, Mr. Li Mingwei applied for the key project of the Ministry of Education — Research on the Design and Practice of Primary School Teachers’ Professional Development Based on Project-based Learning and won the bid successfully! This is good news of scientific research because it is not only the result of the joint efforts of the union team, but also the result of the accumulation of years of Mr. Li’s experience. The achievement gives the Union team full confidence to create a more brilliant future.
