“The Voice of Art” in Spring

At SUIS QP, we believe that every child is born an artist. With pure imagination and free spirit, the artistic creativity of our students is something to treasure. We go above and beyond teaching children about art, and instead look for ways to inspire, awaken, and nurture their artistic nature. Art can nourish the spirit of children and bring joy to all our lives.

In Qingpu Xiehe’s art and music classes, we encourage children to express themselves in an artistic way. In the process, we are often pleasantly surprised by their special talents and unique skills. Picasso once said: “I spent my life learning how to draw like a child.” Awakening this childhood spirit is one of the goals of the Cross-Grade Artistic Performance Corner, which provides students the opportunity to share their talents on stage and let their artistic voices be heard throughout our school community.

In April this year, considering the seriousness of the epidemic, we moved the stage of the Cross-Grade Artistic Performance Corner online. And although it is not possible to see the performances in person, we can still experience the show and witness our students’ enthusiasm for art and music. We are proud of their courage and self-confidence in sharing their talents on stage, delighted by their spirited attitudes, and continuously surprised by the splendor of each performance. It is our hope that this show will bring joy and hope to us all during this difficult time.
