Time has passed, and June ushers in the warm summer season. In this hopeful time, although we are temporarily unable to return to campus, our lives are brought together again by music and art. We are pleased to announce another online performance, our fourth this year, of the Cross-Grade Artistic Performing Corner talent show.
At SUIS Qingpu, we believe that every child is an artist. Our teachers use their educational wisdom and enthusiasm to ignite the children’s artistic potential, encouraging them to share their talents on stage. Under guidance from the teachers, the students continue to explore the beauty of this special time and exemplify the joys of daily life. In their paintings, the students use different artistic structures and colour combinations to discover the beauty of life with their eyes, perceive the texture of things with their hands, create sceneries in their hearts through creativity, and experience this intricate world with their bodies and minds. The vivid paintings are also portrayals of the sunny, cheerful and positive youthful images of SUIS Qingpu students.
If there were no pandemic, perhaps the passionate and energetic month of June would have been a time when we could once again gather together outside in the sun. Now, at home every day, our SUIS Qingpu students enjoy the early summer and nourish their hearts together through music. The children use their flexible fingers to traverse the keyboard, display grace and virtuosity through their posture, and weave together stories through soaring melodies. Vivid music works and vivid musical pictures enable us to feel the beauty of life and bring hope to our lives, enriching our hearts along the way. Music gives us the best nourishment, and we feel more comfortable and at ease.
There is beauty in our hearts, and hope in our minds. Let us use the wonders of the arts to share this beauty and cultivate hope in our community. Let the seeds of beauty land, take root, sprout, blossom and bloom in everyone’s heart!
