During the conference, the online and offline activities of our school members this year were reviewed and summarized through videos, illustrating that, under the guidance of our great leaders, our Young Pioneers at SUIS Qingpu have been doing the right things.
At the beginning of September, the Young Pioneers Representative Conference requirement that each class leader be elected by their fellow students was fulfilled. Post-election, every class leader carefully made a poster of themselves, describing and demonstrating their capabilities.
Counselor Ms. Mia Xie read out the list of names for the new class leader committee, and the class leaders were given committee logos by the school’s leaders. The new class leaders solemnly swore an oath under the team flag, and this was followed by their representative delivering an inaugural speech. The representative expressed that as a member of the brigade committee, she would complete the tasks assigned by the school’s major pioneers diligently, and play a leading role in the league.
The Young Pioneers also conveyed their determination through a song called <Go up! Kids!>
The 4th Young Pioneers Representative Conference ended successfully with a loud and sonorous call resounding throughout the Theater.
This conference not only enhanced the cohesion of the Young Pioneers organization, but it also developed the team members and team leaders’ sense of responsibility. The Young Pioneers at our school will always keep in mind what President Xi said: that every Young Pioneer should keep learning and also strive to be a good team member in the new era. What’s more, our Pioneers should forge ahead for the realization of the Chinese dream, that being, the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation!
