Every Teacher’s Day, the parents’ committee, parents, and students meticulously orchestrate a distinctive surprise brimming with solemnity, extending personal well-wishes and heartfelt attentiveness, thereby elevating every teacher to a luminary on the crimson walkway.
Sunshine filled the campus, and the children’s innocent smiles bloomed like flowers. A gentle breeze blew, and the teachers, brimming with energy, greeted the day with bright smiles. “Teacher, thank you for all your hard work. Happy Teacher’s Day!” These heartfelt greetings not only conveyed the deep bond between teachers and students but also highlighted the strong culture of gratitude within the SUIS community. Teacher’s Day was not only a celebration for teachers but also a valuable moment for children to learn the importance of respecting and appreciating their educators; the significance of revering and valuing their mentors.
At 1 PM, the “Xielihui Outstanding Teacher Awards Ceremony” commenced at the Baihu Theatre. With sixteen years of dedication, our original aspiration remained unchanged. The “SUIS Qingpu Oustanding Teacher Award” aimed at establishing a model of educators who had “light in their eyes and love in their hearts.”
Under the theme “Education is a Journey of Love and Perseverance,” Ms. Huang imparted her educational wisdom. She delicately explained the importance of attuning to the heart’s whispers, employing empathy and support to comprehend students; nurturing seeds of encouragement to cultivate potential into confidence. Journeying alongside students in their development, furnishing them with holistic warmth and care. Teacher Huang’s sincerity resembled a spring breeze, profoundly resonating with the hearts of all educators in attendance.
In her speech entitled, “Education is a Mutual Journey,” Ms. Chen recounted her educational encounters. She held the belief that education is a voyage embarked upon collectively with both children and parents. During his speech entitled, “Waiting for an Encounter with a Poem,” Mr. Dai spoke about the enduring and cyclical traits of modern Chinese language education. He aspired for students to perceive the world’s beauty through their own eyes, to immerse themselves in the elegance of the Chinese language through personal engagement, to discover their own poetic expressions. His ultimate desire was for them to evolve into well-rounded, sensitive and tolerant individuals.
In her speech entitled, “The Timely Gentle Rain of Spring,” Ms. Zhou delivered a refreshing and enlightening speech, enriched with classical and modern allusions. Drawing wisdom from both ancient and contemporary sources, including revered educators, she spoke with humility, articulating her profound dedication and affection for her students.
Ms. Ma recounted her voyage as a primary school homeroom and English teacher. Through concrete examples, she shared her approach of tackling educational obstacles directly, and persistently striving for advancement.
Mr. Kong reminisced about his entertaining transition from a playful child to cultivating a passion for reading. He gave to the children the gift of finding new captivating worlds within books, and urged everyone to relish both through play and reading.
Ms. Yao regaled the children with charming anecdotes from her upbringing, humorously delving into the nuanced facets of education. She underlined that education revolves around addressing each child’s requirements, uncovering their distinctive talents, and fostering the belief that every child is a luminary in their own right.
Mr. Davies’ speech revolved around the theme of bravery. He held the belief that students embody some of the most courageous individuals one can meet, with the goal of encouraging them to ponder bravery in various forms and to consider its unique meanings.
In her speech entitled “The Power of Being Seen,” Ms. He highlighted the significance of mutual visibility among parents, students, and teachers. Additionally, she delved into the essence of sports, portraying it as a remedy that fortifies the body and rejuvenates the soul. Ms. He emphasized the transformative influence of sports, capable of altering individuals, teams and even nations.
