Winter is here and we are delighted to report that we have successfully held our 15th “Artistic Performing Corner” Talent Show (APC). Once again, our students illuminated the campus with harmonious music and gorgeous artwork in the Qinglong Theatre, showcasing their love and aptitude for the arts.
APC events serve as a platform for students to demonstrate their talents in music and art, and the success of each event is a testament to the dedication of the music and art educators in our primary school. This year’s show commenced under the expert guidance of art teachers Ms. Vivian and Ms. Genevie, featuring an unforgettable performance of “Velvet Flower”. Ms. Anna Ren graced the stage as the lead singer, accompanied by the elegant piano playing of Ms. Yuliya Hratyla. The collaboration between the music and art teachers, both onstage and behind the scenes, ensured the event ran smoothly.
The APC evening unfolded into a vast musical ocean, where children’s melodies danced and intertwined to create captivating tales. Waves of music rippled through the air as young musicians expressed their hopes and dreams through song, allowing every listener to experience their innocence and beauty.
As the dusk of the APC unfurled into a vivid sea of colours, young artists’ brushes breathed life into their imaginative worlds, resembling shimmering stars in the sky, illuminating hearts, and inviting every viewer to bask in their boundless creativity.
Every musical note and every brushstroke in our students’ artwork was a representation of their profound love and passion for the arts. This winter, we were happy to have come together to experience the warmth and energy that art brings, allowing its flame to burn ever more brightly in the chill of the season.
