May 25th every year is National Mental Health Day, where “5.25” phonetically translates to “I love myself”.

During the 2025 “Life Growth” Mental Health Education Season and the “Discover Self-Beauty” themed activity during the our Learning Resource Centre (LRC) Reading Season, teachers and students jointly focused on their mental health and spiritual growth, taking time to deeply understand, accept, and care for themselves. When we learn to love ourselves, we can better embrace others, life, and the entire world with fuller enthusiasm.

We often get lost in the tide of life, imposing various shackles on ourselves, yet forgetting that no one in this world can truly limit us except ourselves. When we learn to accept ourselves, it is like lighting a lamp in the darkness, allowing us to see a different kind of beauty rooted in inner confidence and calm.
So, how can we love ourselves well? In psychology classes, children shared creative and warm self-care methods and created “Ways to Love Yourself” posters, which were displayed in various corners of the campus. Like specks of starlight, these posters transmitted the energy of self-care to every teacher and student who passed by.

Although “525 Mental Health Day” lasts only one day, loving yourself extends beyond a single event! It is hoped that we can all embrace our complete and authentic selves as they are. Every day, we should show ourselves more care and tenderness, and be at peace, relaxed, determined, and emboldened in being ourselves!

Allow Everything to Be as It Is —— Hellinger
I allow such thoughts to arise in me.
I allow,
Every thought that emerges,
To exist, and to fade away.
I allow such emotions to rise in me.
I allow,
Every emotion that occurs,
To develop, and to pass through.
I allow myself to be as I am.
I allow,
Myself to act in this way,
No matter how I act, to just be how I act.
I know,
I am here to experience life in the present moment.
In every moment,
The only thing I need to do is to fully allow,
Fully experience, fully go through, fully enjoy.
Look, just look.
Allow everything to be as it is.
