GRADE 2
IDIOM ARENA
Idioms are the essence of Chinese culture and the cultural heritage left by our ancestors. The Grade 2 Han culture learning theme is idioms. Children accumulated a lot of idiom stories in daily learning, each of them is so good at idioms. This activity organized an arena around “Idioms”. The activities are divided into four parts: Mini theater, children’s music and dance show, compare and guess, and competition. Students can not only use what they learned in the classroom, showing their own idiom knowledge and skills, but also feel the charm behind the idioms.
Idioms are concise, profound and meaningful, reflecting various forms of history. They take language as the carrier and convey rich meanings. They are a bright pearl in Chinese vocabulary. In the activity, every student cheered and praised for the wonderful performance from other competitors. This spirit has become the essence of learning.
GRADE 3 & 4

“On the pool”, a poetry recitation performance brought by students from grade 3 of A, B, C and D classes, opened the prelude to the poetry conference.
“I don’t know how to hide the trace, duckweed will open together.” These familiar and well-known poems churn in our mind, revealing the artistic conception and bringing endless reverie. In the performance of “poetry dialogue”, song and dance “drunken flower room”, and the traditional word game Feihualing, the students understand the essence of Chinese poetry culture.
